Thieves targeted the funeral prayer of Ferdi Tayfur.

The famous artist Ferdi Tayfur's passing at the age of 79 plunged Turkey into mourning, while thousands attended his funeral brought to Istanbul.

A SCANDALOUS INCIDENT OCCURRED

Before the funeral prayer held at the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque in Levent, Istanbul, a scandalous incident took place.

"MAY IT BE A SACRIFICE FOR HIM"

Before the funeral prayer, some of Ferdi Tayfur's fans who entered the mosque to perform the afternoon prayer noticed that their shoes were stolen when they exited the mosque. One fan whose shoes were stolen said, "We came here from Ümraniye for Ferdi Baba's funeral, but may God have mercy on him; 7-8 people's shoes were lost in the mosque. May it be a sacrifice for him."

WAITING FOR A RELATIVE TO BRING SHOES

Another fan of Ferdi Tayfur, whose shoes were lost, was seen waiting at the door in socks after exiting the mosque. The fan said, "We came with shoes, but we will leave barefoot." They were waiting for a relative to bring shoes.

"WE WILL TRY TO LEAVE, BUT LET'S SEE HOW"

Another Tayfur fan responded to the question, "What are you doing now, what will you do?" by saying, "Honestly, I don't know. We will try to leave, but I don't know how."

CHARITY DONORS GAVE SHOES

A Ferdi Tayfur fan whose shoes were lost said, "Well, we are fine; I will buy a new pair now. Thankfully, there is a store nearby."

THEY BOUGHT NEW SHOES FROM THE MALL

Those with relatives waited for new shoes to be bought from the shopping center across the mosque, while some were gifted shoes by charity donors.
