According to a statement from the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGK), it is expected that the cold weather coming from the Black Sea will affect the country starting tomorrow.
It is predicted that the cold weather will continue to affect the western parts of the country until Wednesday, and the central and eastern parts until Thursday.
STRONG ICING AND FROST EXPECTED
During this period, strong icing and frost events are expected in Thrace, the eastern Marmara, Inner Aegean, Central Anatolia, the inner parts of the Mediterranean, the inner parts of the Black Sea, the high areas of Eastern Anatolia, and Southeastern Anatolia.

It is predicted that the mixed rain and snowfall observed in the Eastern Black Sea will increase its impact after the evening hours, becoming strong in the inner and high areas of Rize, Artvin, Trabzon, and Giresun, and will lose its effect by tomorrow night.
Heavy snowfall is also expected tomorrow in Sinop, the north of Kastamonu, and Bartın.
AVALANCHE DANGER IN THE INTERIOR AREAS
On the other hand, there is an avalanche danger in the sloped areas with a high snow cover in the inner parts of the Eastern Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia.
