It was reported that three individuals hunting wild goats in the Silifke district of Mersin, the Afşin district of Kahramanmaraş, and the borders of Adıyaman were fined 2 million 894 thousand 565 TL, and legal proceedings have also been initiated.

Recently, 3 individuals who were found hunting wild goats in Silifke of Mersin, Afşin of Kahramanmaraş, and the borders of Adıyaman were identified and arrested. A total fine of 2 million 894 thousand 565 TL was imposed on the arrested individuals, and legal action was taken.

In a statement from the institution: "Efforts to combat illegal hunting are ongoing across the country. In the inspections carried out by our teams as part of protection and control activities, individuals identified as engaging in illegal hunting were apprehended, and administrative sanctions were applied in accordance with relevant laws.

As part of the inspections, an individual caught with a wild goat he shot in Adıyaman was fined 964 thousand 855 TL, an individual identified as having shot a wild goat in Afşin of Kahramanmaraş was fined 969 thousand 591 TL, and an individual identified as having shot a wild goat in Silifke of Mersin was fined 960 thousand 119 TL as administrative fines and compensation. Thus, a total of 2 million 894 thousand 565 TL in fines and compensation was imposed on the individuals caught in 3 different provinces, and the seized rifles were confiscated," it was stated.
