Iran is preparing to implement the option of cryptocurrency payments in defense industry exports to circumvent Western financial sanctions. The export institution Mindex, affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, announced that it is open to payment models in military contracts using cryptocurrency, barter, and Iranian rials.

According to a report by the Financial Times, the export institution Mindex, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Defense, announced that it is open to accepting payments in digital assets for military contracts.
BARTER METHOD IS ALSO ON THE AGENDA
In promotional documents, it was stated that Mindex is also open to negotiating payment models using barter methods and Iranian rials in addition to cryptocurrency. The institution expressed that it has active customer relations with 35 countries; it was reported that the sales catalog includes Emad ballistic missiles, Shahed-type drones, Shahid Soleimani-class warships, and short-range air defense systems.
