Turkey's domestic car brand Togg is receiving praise from Europe. German car magazine Auto Bild and French news agency Agence France-Presse highlighted Togg's success and production speed that surpasses Tesla. It was stated that Togg will produce 20 thousand vehicles in 2023 and surpass Tesla, which produced 2 thousand vehicles in its first year. Togg's SUV model T10X received top marks from Germany's leading car magazine Auto Bild.

The magazine emphasized that the cockpit section offers various digital features and highlighted that if TOGG can successfully implement its digital ecosystem ideas, it can surpass its competitors. The magazine also mentioned that TOGG offers a better price-performance ratio compared to other cars in the same segment.
TOGG IS THE LEADER IN THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE CLASS
Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır answered questions about the agenda on TRT Haber.
Minister Kacır stated, "We are witnessing the birth of a brand that leads the transformation of the entire sector. TOGG will step into Germany and enter the European market at the beginning of 2025."
He also said, "We are not only witnessing the birth of a new car brand, but also a brand that leads the transformation of the entire sector. Today, there are nearly 30,000 TOGGs on the roads."
TOGG is both the leader in the electric vehicle class and the market leader among its own SUV models.
Turkey will become one of the important battery production centers in the world in the coming period. It will be crucial for TOGG to develop its capabilities in autonomous driving and artificial intelligence in the future.

TOGG continues to be the market leader, according to ODMD data. TOGG, which has been rising among electric car brands, maintained its market leadership in April.
In April, TOGG sold 3,003 units, surpassing its closest competitor by 2,264 units.
During this period, TOGG's market share in the electric car market reached 49.25%. In other words, 1 out of every 2 electric cars sold was TOGG T10X.
Looking at the data for the first 4 months of the year, TOGG's market share in electric sales reached 35.29% with 7,148 sales.
