Toki will deliver thousands of housing units in the new year.

TOKİ delivered 70,451 housing units in 2024 to fulfill the dream of homeownership for low-income citizens. Additionally, it was announced that 201,000 more housing units will be delivered to their owners in the near future.

THOUSANDS OF HOUSES DELIVERED TO OWNERS IN 2024

The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change's Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) made many citizens homeowners throughout 2024. Those wishing to buy a house evaluated opportunities by following the sales of TOKİ housing units. Tender dates for social housing for 2025 have also been announced. TOKİ continues to offer opportunities for low-cost housing purchases. The discounts made by TOKİ are also met with great interest from citizens.

HIGH NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS ACROSS TURKEY

TOKİ builds the majority of its housing as social housing. TOKİ President Mustafa Levent Sungur stated, "6.9 million citizens applied for our projects of 50, 100, and 250 thousand housing units. In the 50 thousand social housing campaign, the tender for 56,358 housing units was completed, and 38,768 housing units were delivered to their owners. In the 100 thousand social housing project, 97,025 housing units were tendered, and 48,666 housing units were delivered."

DOWN PAYMENT AND LONG-TERM PAYMENT OPTIONS FOR SOCIAL HOUSING

Sungur noted that TOKİ offers a 10% down payment and a payment plan of 240 months for its social housing projects. He also added that special quotas are reserved for disabled, martyr, and veteran families in sales conducted by lottery.

GOOD NEWS FOR LANDOWNERS WITH THE FIRST HOME LAND PROJECT

Sungur stated that the process of allocating land to approximately 15,000 rights holders has begun under the First Home Land Project, and announced that all land allocations will be completed by July 2025.
