Toprak Razgatlıoğlu has become the World Superbike champion for the second time.

National motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlıoğlu declared his championship in the first race of the 12th and final round of the 2024 World Superbike Championship (WSBK), which will be held in Spain this weekend. Toprak has reached the top for the second time.

The 12th and final stage of WSBK is taking place on October 19-20 at the 4.423-kilometer-long Circuito de Jerez in Spain.

BECAME WORLD CHAMPION

In the first race of the final stage of the season, national motorcycle racer Toprak Razgatlıoğlu managed to cross the finish line in 2nd place and declared his championship.

Known as "El Turco" by racing enthusiasts worldwide, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu's closest rival, Italian Nicolo Bulega, won the race, but the national motorcycle racer maintained a points gap of over 37, securing the championship regardless of the results of the races to be held tomorrow.

2ND CHAMPIONSHIP

Toprak, who won his first championship in the 2021 season with the Yamaha team in WSBK, has written his name at the top for the second time in the 2024 season with the Rokit BMW team. Rokit BMW also achieved its first WSBK championship in history together with Toprak Razgatlıoğlu.
