TOURIST WHO FELL ILL AT HOTEL POOL DIES
A Moldovan tourist vacationing in Antalya's Alanya district fell ill and died in the hotel's pool area.
The incident occurred at a hotel in the Okurcalar neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the 51-year-old Alexandru Iunac, staying at the hotel, suddenly fell ill while sunbathing by the pool.
COULD NOT BE SAVED AT THE HOSPITAL
Health teams were dispatched to the hotel upon notification. The tourist received first aid at the scene and was then taken by ambulance to Manavgat State Hospital. However, Iunac could not be saved and died despite all medical efforts.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
An investigation has been initiated to determine the cause of death, and it was reported that a judicial inquiry into the incident is ongoing.
