DIGITAL RADIO FAILURE HALTS SERVICES

German railway company Deutsche Bahn announced that train services nationwide have been suspended due to a technical malfunction in the digital train radio system.

A company spokesperson stated to the German News Agency (DPA) that all resources have been mobilized to fix the fault.

PASSENGERS BEING TRANSPORTED TO STATIONS

Deutsche Bahn Board Chairwoman Evelyn Palla told Bild newspaper that their priority is to safely evacuate passengers from the trains.
