Donald Trump, who emerged victorious in the presidential elections held on November 5 in the United States, has begun rewarding his lawyers who defended him in the 'hush money' case. HIGH-LEVEL POSITIONS FOR HIS LAWYERS AT THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICETrump announced that he would appoint his lawyers Emil Bove, John Sauer, and Todd Blanche to high-level positions at the Department of Justice. According to CNN's report, Trump stated in a written announcement that he would appoint Blanche as Deputy Attorney General, Bove as the Chief Assistant to the Deputy Attorney General, and Sauer as the Chief Legal Advisor. Trump noted that Blanche would also take on different responsibilities at the Department of Justice, saying, "John is a skilled criminal defense attorney who has worked for U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, served as Missouri's Attorney General for 6 years, and has experience in the U.S. Supreme Court and other appellate courts." Blanche and Bove defended Trump in the "hush money" case. Sauer had represented Trump in the case regarding his role in the January 6 Capitol riot and the allegations of interference in the 2020 Presidential elections. Sauer played a significant role in the Supreme Court's decision that the president has immunity on certain matters in this case. Yesterday, Trump announced that he had nominated Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz to the Department of Justice.
