U.S. President Donald Trump announced through Truth Social that Venezuela has agreed to take back illegal immigrants from the United States. Trump stated that the transportation of the immigrants would be provided by Venezuela, while expressing that they are in the process of deporting a record number of immigrants.
US President Donald Trump has accelerated his efforts against illegal immigrants in the country since taking office on January 20. In a statement made on his own social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said, "Venezuela has agreed to take back all Venezuelan illegal immigrants who have set up camp in the US, including members of the Tren de Aragua gang."
"WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REMOVING A RECORD NUMBER OF IMMIGRANTS"
In his statement, Trump noted that the transportation of the immigrants would also be carried out by Venezuela, saying, "Venezuela has also agreed to provide return transportation. We are in the process of removing a record number of illegal immigrants from all countries, and all countries have agreed to take back these illegal immigrants. Additionally, a record number of criminals are being removed from our country, and the border numbers are the strongest since the early days of the Trump administration," he stated.
VENEZUELA HAD RELEASED 6 US CITIZENS
US President Donald Trump's Special Representative Richard Grenell met with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro yesterday in the capital of Venezuela, Caracas. Following the meeting, 6 US citizens who were detained in Venezuela were released.
