US President Donald Trump said he is considering relaunching the "Freedom Project," which he initiated and then halted to ensure the passage of commercial ships from "neutral" countries stranded in the Strait of Hormuz and unrelated to the Middle East crisis.

US President Donald Trump is considering restarting the Freedom Project.

"I WILL DEAL WITH THEM UNTIL A DEAL IS MADE"

Speaking to Fox News, Trump stated that he is thinking about relaunching the project he started and then halted, aimed at facilitating the passage of commercial ships from "neutral" countries stranded in the Strait of Hormuz and unrelated to the crisis in the Middle East, saying, "I will temporarily lift the gasoline tax."

Also threatening the Tehran administration once again, Trump said, "The hardline leaders in Iran will give up; I will deal with them until a deal is made. The Iranians said that the 'nuclear dust' in the destroyed facilities should be removed by the US."

"FREEDOM PROJECT"

Trump announced that as of May 4, they would begin assisting ships from "neutral" countries stranded in the Strait of Hormuz and unrelated to the Middle East crisis, in their passage through the strait, and named this the "Freedom Project."

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio claimed at a White House press briefing that they launched an operation called the "Freedom Project" to rescue about 23,000 civilians from 87 different countries in the Gulf region due to Iran's closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

In a statement on May 6, Trump announced that they had decided to temporarily halt the Freedom Project.
