US President Donald Trump made striking remarks 2 hours before his meeting with Netanyahu, stating that Netanyahu wants to keep him involved in the war. Trump also called on Iran to make a deal, threatening, "If they don't, we'll come back and finish the job."
US President Donald Trump made remarks that will be widely discussed two hours before his meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Emphasizing that Netanyahu is trying to keep him involved in the war, Trump made an open call for Iran to sit at the table, saying, "If they don't agree, we will come back and finish the job."
"BIBI WANTS ME TO STAY IN THE WAR"
Speaking before his meeting with Netanyahu, Trump stated that he does not need Israel's military directions, using the following expressions:
"Netanyahu wants me to strike Mount Kazma because he wants me to stay in the war. I don't have to. I don't need Bibi to tell me what to do. Bibi says this only because he wants me to stay involved."
THREAT TO IRAN'S INFRASTRUCTURE
In his statements, Trump also sent clear messages to the Iranian administration, outlining military scenarios if an agreement is not reached. Trump said, "If they don't agree, I will hit all their bridges within an hour. Then I will hit all their power plants within a day. But I am thinking about the 91 million people there."
"NOW IS A GOOD TIME FOR A DEAL"
Stating that Iran intends to stay away from nuclear weapons but needs to formalize this, Trump reminded that the military option remains on the table if the process stalls:
"Iran has basically agreed not to have nuclear weapons, but they also need to announce it officially. Now is the perfect time for Iran to make a deal. If they don't reach an agreement, we will come back and finish the job."
