EPSTEIN QUESTION ANNOYED TRUMP
Trump spoke about the allegations regarding billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who was found dead in prison while being prosecuted for allegedly running a prostitution ring. Trump reacted strongly to a question from an ABC television reporter regarding the matter.
"YOU ARE A TERRIBLE PERSON"
Trump said: "You are a terrible person, a bad journalist, a disgrace. ABC's broadcasting license should be revoked. Your broadcasting rights should be taken away. You are spreading fake news. You are not trustworthy at all. Investigate the Democrats who took money from Epstein."
THE EPSTEIN CASE
Epstein, who was charged with sexually abusing dozens of girls under the age of 18, including one as young as 14, and running a prostitution ring, was found dead in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York, on August 10, 2019.
The disclosed Epstein case files included famous names such as Prince Andrew, US President Donald Trump, former US President Bill Clinton, former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak, former US Vice President Al Gore, actor Kevin Spacey, singer Michael Jackson, illusionist David Copperfield, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, and former New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson.
The FBI also stated that, as a result of its investigation with the US Department of Justice, there was no evidence of a "client list" involving famous individuals, and it concluded that Epstein, who was alleged to have been murdered to cover up the crimes of individuals including government officials, celebrities, and businessmen, actually committed suicide in his cell.
US journalist Tucker Carlson also claimed that Epstein "worked for Israel, that everyone in Washington thought the same way but could not say it openly."
The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reported that Epstein's girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell had asked acquaintances to write letters to him for his 50th birthday, one of which was allegedly from Trump.
