The Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi announced that the nuclear agreement proposal mentioned by U.S. President Donald Trump about two weeks ago was delivered to them today by Oman.
"IT WILL BE RESPONDED APPROPRIATELY IN LINE WITH THE NATIONAL INTERESTS OF THE IRANIAN PEOPLE" In a statement on his social media account, Araghchi reported that Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi visited Tehran. In his statement, the Iranian minister said: "My dear brother, the distinguished Foreign Minister of Oman, Busaidi, made a short visit to Tehran today and presented the elements of a U.S. proposal that will be responded to appropriately in line with the principles, national interests, and rights of the Iranian people."

U.S. media reported that American negotiators presented a written nuclear agreement proposal to the Iranian delegation during the nuclear talks held in Oman on May 11. Trump responded to a question on the subject by saying, "Yes, there is a proposal. But (Iran) must act quickly, otherwise bad things will happen." Iran, on the other hand, stated that they had not received any written proposal from the U.S.
