US President Donald Trump made a new statement on social media regarding the war they initiated with Israel. Trump claimed they defeated Iran, stating, "The US has defeated Iran militarily, economically, and in every aspect, and has completely shattered it." Regarding the Strait of Hormuz, Trump said, "However, the countries of the world that take oil through the Strait of Hormuz must take responsibility for the security of this passage, and we will help them."
While the war that began with the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran continues; US President Donald Trump made striking new statements.
"WE DEFEATED IRAN"
In a statement from his social media account, Trump claimed that they had defeated Iran, stating, "The USA has defeated Iran militarily, economically, and in every aspect, and has completely shattered it."
CALL FOR THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ
The US President also stated regarding the Strait of Hormuz, "However, the countries of the world that receive oil through the Strait of Hormuz must take responsibility for the security of this passage, and we will assist them."
Trump also noted: "The USA will also coordinate with these countries to ensure that everything proceeds quickly, smoothly, and well. This should always have been a team effort, and it will be so now; this will bring the world together towards harmony, security, and endless peace."
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the USA launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations.
Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed.
According to Iranian officials, the death toll from the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, and the number of injured has surpassed 17,000.
