New statements have come from U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the war with Iran. Trump, who said that he would decide whether the war would end or not, stated, "There are no targets left to hit in Iran, the war will end soon."
US President Donald Trump stated that the war with Iran will end whenever he wants, expressing that there is almost nothing left to target in Iran.
TRUMP'S STATEMENT ON THE IRAN WAR: IT WILL END SOON
While there is curiosity about when the war between the US, Israel, and Iran will end, US President Donald Trump made a new statement. Trump claimed that there is no place left to hit in Iran, saying, "The war will end whenever I want. The war will end soon."
"WE ARE FAR BEYOND THE PLANNED TIMELINE"
Speaking to Axios, Trump said, "We are far beyond the planned timeline. Even within the first six weeks, we have caused more damage than we thought possible. Iran had targeted the rest of the Middle East as well. They are paying the price for the death and destruction they have caused for 47 years. This is revenge. They will not get away with it so easily."
WHITE HOUSE: OPERATIONS WILL END WHEN TRUMP REACHES MILITARY TARGETS
On the other hand, the day before, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt was reminded of Trump's statement that "the war in Iran is largely over." Leavitt stated, "The President and the US military's initial timeline was that all targets would be reached in 4 to 6 weeks. The US military is achieving these targets much earlier than planned, quickly and effectively. However, operations will end at the point where President Trump reports that military targets have been reached."
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
Israel and the US launched a military attack on Iran on February 28 while negotiations were ongoing between the Tehran and Washington administrations. Iran responded with attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, along with many high-ranking officials, was killed. According to Iranian officials, 1,332 people lost their lives in the US-Israel attacks.
