Weeks remain until Donald Trump, elected as the 47th President of the United States, takes office. Trump, who will assume the presidential seat on January 20, addressed policies regarding illegal immigrants in an interview with the U.S. press.

WILL USE THE MILITARY TO DEPORT ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS

Trump announced that he would use the U.S. military to deport illegal immigrants to the extent permitted by law. Reminded of the law that prevents the military from being used in this regard, Trump argued that illegal immigration represents an invasion that must be stopped.

"I SEE IT AS AN INVASION OF OUR COUNTRY"

Trump stated, "I see this as an invasion of our country. We will take the National Guard and go as far as allowed by our country's laws. I do not want them sitting in camps for the next 20 years. I want them deported and for their countries to take them back."
