According to a report in AS Newspaper, UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin stated regarding the stadiums and organization in Italy, "If the situation does not change, the tournament will not be played in Italy." The report mentioned that Italy is jeopardizing the organization due to infrastructure issues and insufficient stadiums, which is why UEFA is considering Turkey as an alternative. It was noted that Turkey is much more prepared in terms of infrastructure and could organize the tournament on its own.
