Following a savage attack at a middle school in Kahramanmaraş that resulted in 9 fatalities, the television world has decided to go into a period of "mourning." In the wake of the incident, which caused outrage across all segments of society, national channels have made radical changes to their broadcast schedules, pulling entertainment content and new episodes of series from the screen.
NEW EPISODES POSTPONED
In line with the decision taken to share in the societal grief, the new episodes of ambitious productions expected to meet viewers this evening (Wednesday, April 15th) were not broadcast. Among the series removed from the broadcast schedule are:
Eşref Rüya (Kanal D)
Kuruluş Osman (atv)
Yeraltı (NOW)
SENSITIVITY AT THE FOREFRONT
Out of respect for the magnitude of the tragedy and the memory of the students who lost their lives, channels aired reruns of old episodes or special news broadcasts instead of new episodes. Following this decision, which also received significant support on social media, it is expected that the postponed episodes will resume from where they left off starting next week.
