'Turkey Neutralizes 7 Terrorists In Country's East'

Number of neutralized terrorists in eastern Agri province reaches 15 in last 3 days, says Turkish Interior Ministry.

Turkish Interior Ministry on Saturday announced that the provincial gendarmerie command neutralized seven terrorists in the countryside of eastern Agri province.
Turkish authorities often use the word "neutralized" in their statements to imply that the terrorists in question either surrendered or were killed or captured.
The armed terrorists were targeted in the air-backed operation within the scope of internal security operations, the ministry said in a statement.
On Thursday, the ministry also announced that the provincial gendarmerie teams had neutralized eight terrorists, which makes the total number of neutralized terrorists in Agri reach 15 in the last three days.
The ministry announced the operations continue in the region.
