BIST 100 loses nearly 1,000 points at closing session.

Turkey's benchmark stock index down 0.85% to 114,808.56 points in the closing session of the last transaction day of the week.

After starting the day at 115,450.93 points, Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index lost 985.03 points from Thursday's close of 115,793.59 points.



The price of one ounce of gold was $1,807.20 by market close, down from $1,809.45 at the previous close, according to data from Borsa Istanbul's Precious Metals and Diamond Markets.



The price of Brent crude oil was around $42.80 per barrel as of 6 p.m. (1500GMT) on Friday.
