Turkiye's Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Serbia's Aleksandar Vucic to discuss bilateral, regional issues at face to face meeting.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday welcomed his Serbian counterpart Aleksandar Vucic with an official ceremony in the capital Ankara.

After a one-on-one meeting to discuss bilateral and regional issues, the two leaders are due to attend a session of the countries' high-level cooperation council and also hold a joint news conference where several agreements will be signed.

The visit follows Erdogan's Monday visit to Serbia's southern neighbor, Albania.

Both countries are part of the Balkans, a region Turkiye shares deep historical and cultural ties with.
