The CHP members of the Bayrampaşa Municipal Council, Yaşar Yarka and Cenk Çınar, announced that they have resigned from their party and joined the DSP. In a joint written statement made by the two, various criticisms were also expressed towards the CHP leadership.

NEW ADDRESSES REVEALED
In a joint written statement made by the two council members, criticisms regarding the management approach during the ongoing process within the party were expressed. The statement mentioned that they were accused of being oppositional due to voicing complaints and objections from the public, and it was stated that the "divide, conquer, rule" mentality has harmed local politics. The two council members announced that they will continue their duties under the roof of the Democratic Left Party (DSP) in the future.
The joint statement made by Çınar and Yarka is as follows:
"WE HAVE ALWAYS OPPOSED APPOINTMENTS NOT RELATED TO BAYRAMPAŞA AND THE REPUBLICAN PEOPLE'S PARTY"
"Dear neighbors, beloved residents of Bayrampaşa, Until today, we have followed the process with calmness and common sense, fighting around the truths we believe in. During the period we thought we were in management, we have always opposed appointments not related to Bayrampaşa and the Republican People's Party. While discussing complaints and objections from the public with the management teams, we were accused of being oppositional. The point we have reached shows how right we are.
"ALMOST ALL OF OUR COUNCIL GROUP HAS BEEN SUBJECTED TO SLANDER"
Our effort to be part of the solution, not the problem, did not yield results. On the contrary, at the point we have reached, almost all of our council group has been subjected to slander. By a party that we even objected to its existence. The "divide, conquer, rule" mentality and the habit of not trusting our own cadres have dealt a heavy blow to the Bayrampaşa Municipality and its politics.
"WE HAVE MADE A DIFFICULT AND RADICAL DECISION"
To heal this heavy wound that Bayrampaşa has suffered, to lead the normalization climate, and to be able to produce solutions focused on the people's problems, we have made a difficult and radical decision. As of today, we are resigning from the Republican People's Party. The decision we have made does not mean transferring a will to another place. On the contrary, we are presenting an alternative for all the people of Bayrampaşa, especially the Republican People's Party voters who voted for us, to follow the problems and produce solutions. It is impossible for us, who have a bond of neighborliness and friendship in Bayrampaşa, to be understood by people who lack this feeling from the outside. We believe that the feeling that will normalize Bayrampaşa politics is this bond.
"WE ARE OPENING A NEW AND CLEAN PAGE"
Starting from tomorrow, we believe that the necessary evaluation will be made by the conscience of society, focusing all our efforts on solving the problems of the people of Bayrampaşa and setting aside all other issues as always. With this belief, we share our resignation with the public. We are opening a new and clean page in the Bayrampaşa Municipal Council. We continue our duties as members of the Democratic Left Party.
