SUCIDE AT GÜZELYALI STOP
A person who jumped from the bridge in Güzelyalı stop in front of the train moving towards Gebze-Halkalı lost their life. The train was evacuated to remove the lifeless body of the person who was trapped under the wagon. In a statement from Marmaray, it was stated, "Due to a tragic incident that occurred at Marmaray Güzelyalı station, our trains are operating on a single track between Aydıntepe-Kaynarca stations, and Marmaray services are being delayed."
A PERSON JUMPED ONTO THE TRACKS AT DARICA STOP
About 1 hour after the suicide incident at Güzelyalı stop, a person who jumped onto the tracks at Darıca station lost their life. Train services were disrupted due to the suicide incidents. In a statement from Marmaray, it was mentioned: "Due to a tragic incident that occurred at Marmaray Darıca station, our trains are operating on a single track between Gebze-Darıca stations, and Marmaray services are being delayed."
