In Istanbul's Sultanbeyli district, a dispute between a young man accused of illegal taxi driving and two taxi drivers turned into a knife fight. Two taxi drivers were injured in the fight, in which the young man's brothers also got involved. The young man and his brothers, who fled after the incident, were caught by police teams. The fight was captured on a mobile phone camera.
Two taxi drivers were injured in a "pirate taxi" fight that broke out in Istanbul's Sultanbeyli district.
The incident occurred at the bus terminal in Adil Neighborhood around 12:50. According to the information obtained, a fight broke out for an unknown reason between Baran G. (25), who was alleged to be operating as a pirate taxi driver with the vehicle plate 34 MVK 528, and taxi drivers Tuncay V. and Faruk K.
CAME BACK WITH HIS BROTHERS
After the argument, Baran G.'s brothers, Seyit G. (26) and H.G. (17), whom he had informed, arrived at the bus terminal in a car with plate 76 DN 068. The argument that started again between the parties quickly turned into a fight. In the fight, Tuncay V. was stabbed in the abdomen, and Faruk K. was stabbed in the back. Baran G. and his 2 brothers fled the scene by car. The incident was captured on a mobile phone camera. Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. It was learned that the 2 taxi drivers, who were taken to the hospital after the first intervention by health teams, did not have life-threatening conditions.
3 BROTHERS WERE CAUGHT
With the efforts of the teams from the Sultanbeyli District Police Department Patrol Teams Directorate, Baran G., Seyit G., and H.G. were caught. In the examination at the scene, the knife used in the fight could not be found. It was learned that the suspects' procedures at the police station are ongoing.
