U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that an investigation has been launched regarding the attack carried out by the U.S. and Israel on an elementary school in Iran's Hormozgan province. In a statement to the press, Hegseth spoke about the attack on the "Shajaret al-Tayyiba Girls' Elementary School" in the city of Minab. In response to a question regarding the bombing of the elementary school by the U.S. and Israel, Hegseth replied, "The only thing I can say is that we are investigating the incident."
"WE NEVER TARGET CIVILIAN OBJECTIVES"
Hegseth defended that the U.S. military "never targets civilian objectives." Iranian state television reported that in the attack carried out by the U.S. and Israel on the Shajaret al-Tayyiba Girls' Elementary School in the city of Minab, Hormozgan province, 153 students and teachers lost their lives on February 28.
