As the attacks by the US and Israel on Iran turn the region into a bloodbath, a striking statement came from US Senator Lindsey Graham. His remarks on a television program, "We will make a lot of money when this regime (Iran) is overthrown," drew criticism.
The war that began on February 28 with the attacks of the USA and Israel on Iran continues with Iran's retaliatory strikes. In the 9 days of ongoing conflict, the USA and Israel have targeted numerous civilian sites in Iran.
While US President Donald Trump explained the reason for their attacks on Iran as the potential for nuclear weapon production, the statements of a US senator revealed the true intentions of the USA.

US Senator Lindsey Graham made striking remarks during a television program he participated in. His statement, "We will make a large amount of money when this regime (Iran) is overthrown," drew reactions.
US-ISRAEL ATTACKS ON IRAN
While negotiations between Tehran and Washington are ongoing, Israel and the USA launched a military attack on Iran on February 28.
In response, Iran carried out attacks on targets it identified in several regional countries, including Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, where US bases are located, in addition to Israel.
In the US-Israel attacks, many high-ranking officials, including Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, were killed.
Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN), Said Iravani, announced in a statement at the UN that at least 1,332 Iranian civilians have lost their lives since the attacks began, and thousands have been injured.
