CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM UĞUR DÜNDAR
Journalist Uğur Dündar used striking expressions in his message following Reha Muhtar's death. Dündar stated that he spoke with the officials of the hospital where Muhtar was being treated in Bodrum, reporting that he was in intensive care, suffered from heart failure, had edema and wounds on his legs, had a lung infection, and his condition was critical.

Uğur Dündar stated that they made great efforts for Reha Muhtar to regain his health after a brain hemorrhage he suffered about 2 years ago. CUSTODY CRISIS WITH DENİZ UĞUR
Reha Muhtar had separated from Deniz Uğur, the mother of his twins, by signing a protocol in 2010. According to the protocol, it was agreed that the custody of the twin children Mina Deniz and Poyraz Deniz would remain with their father Reha Muhtar until the age of 18. The protocol also included a clause allowing Deniz Uğur to see her children at Muhtar's mansion whenever she wanted and to stay at the mansion for two days.
