In Adana, while a health team responding to a heart attack case was intervening with the patient, the key to the ambulance was lost. When the key could not be found, a second ambulance was called, but the patient was not saved at the hospital to which he was taken by the second ambulance.

In the Yüreğir district of Adana, the incident in which Mehmet Kepir lost his life was truly shocking.

HE DROPPED THE KEY BETWEEN THE BLANKET WHILE PERFORMING CPR

The incident occurred on the morning of May 7 in the Levent neighborhood of central Yüreğir district. According to claims, when Mehmet Kepir fell ill and collapsed at home, his family called 112 Emergency Call Center for help. Upon the report, medical teams were dispatched to the address. The teams, arriving at the scene quickly, provided initial first aid at home to Mehmet Kepir, who was found wrapped in a blanket. He was then taken to the ambulance, where CPR continued. During this time, the ambulance key fell between the patient's blanket. The personnel did not notice this. When the teams wanted to take the patient to the hospital, they realized the key was missing. Both the medical staff, the patient's relatives, and citizens searched for the key. They looked under the ambulance and other vehicles, and pushed the ambulance a bit forward. But the key could not be found. Those moments were captured second by second by a security camera of a nearby house.

Mother at Grave

Ayağ said, "My husband woke up in the morning to take my son to school. He had gone to the bathroom. We heard a thud. We rushed there immediately. He was revived through my mother's intervention. The ambulance team arrived. He was wrapped in a blanket. At that time, one of the ambulance personnel moved the vehicle to give way to other cars below. Then my husband was brought down from the 3rd floor. My husband stayed in the ambulance for about 40 minutes. Everyone, including the neighbors, searched for the key. A second ambulance came. He was not deceased until then. I lost my husband due to the negligence of the first ambulance. They said they found the key inside the blanket. They had wrapped my husband in the blanket. I don't know if it got stuck underneath when he was placed in the vehicle with the blanket. I complain about that personnel and the driver."

Son İbrahim Kepir said, "I was hugging my father at his grave. They are the reason my father is gone. I hugged my father and kissed his hand. He won't come back, and I want them to be punished."
