The master artist Volkan Konak, who passed away due to a heart attack during a concert in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus last year, was remembered by his fans and the art community on the first anniversary of his death.
One of the beloved names of Black Sea music, Volkan Konak, collapsed while performing in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus last year and was taken to the hospital, but despite all interventions, he could not be saved. The sudden death of the artist plunged both the music world and his fans into mourning.
As a year has passed since the master artist's death, Volkan Konak has not been forgotten by his fans. Many artists and fans shared photos and songs of Konak on social media, publishing memorial messages. The posts emphasized that the artist's works continue to live on in memories.
“I MISS YOU SO MUCH”
Volkan Konak's wife, Selma Konak, also moved his fans with her post. In her message, Selma Konak expressed the following:
“My dear Volkan, a whole year has passed without you. You are still in my heart. Being with you was too precious to fit into a lifetime. Losing you is too hard to express in words. But I know that you will continue to live on in every word, every song, and every memory. Your absence still weighs the same... I miss you so much.”
Famous singer Hande Yener also included the words, “Our dear friend, our beloved Volkan Konak... It has been a year since we lost you. I remember you with longing” in her post.
Singer Zara also commemorated the master artist by sharing footage of a song they performed together on her social media account.
