Mehmet Aslan, the Deputy Chairman of the İYİ Party, who was a guest on Haberler.com, stated that online gambling and drugs have turned into a quagmire that drives young people to suicide, saying, "There is now a betting exchange. Speaking to the host Melis Yaşar on Haberler.com, İYİ Party Deputy Chairman Mehmet Aslan stated that it is not enough to remove the YPG from Aleppo, emphasizing that the real threat lies throughout northern Syria. Comparing U.S. President Donald Trump's global policy to that of Germany in 1933, Aslan expressed that the world is entering a dangerous process and the risk of a Third World War is increasing. Addressing Turkey's fundamental issues, Aslan pointed out that the biggest problems are drugs and online gambling, stating that urgent and comprehensive measures need to be taken for the youth.
"THERE IS AN ORGANIZATION THAT HAS SWORN TO ESTABLISH A TERROR STATE IN ALL OF NORTHERN SYRIA" Emphasizing that it is not enough to remove the YPG from Aleppo, Aslan said, "The cleansing of YPG from Aleppo means nothing. Because the YPG is almost nonexistent in Aleppo. It exists in one or two neighborhoods, which is not significant. The main issue is the existence of a terrorist organization that has aspired to statehood throughout northern Syria, dreamed of it, believed in it, and sworn to establish a terror state. It has an army and power equipped with the equipment received from America and imperialism. They are stalling with the events in Aleppo so that we do not approach there. They are trying to finish the job with the conflicts in Aleppo to prevent us from seeing the real source, the real resource. The real place is not Aleppo anyway. The operations that need to be carried out should take place in northern Syria, which is a nest of evil and where a terror state is intended to be established. This region, extending from Afrin to the east and west of the Euphrates, up to the Iraqi border, must be completely cleansed of the PKK, KCK, YPG, SDG, and all these structures, regardless of their names," he stated.
"THE THIRD WORLD WAR IS AT THE DOOR" Criticizing U.S. President Donald Trump's policies with harsh words, Aslan said, "Trump is challenging the whole world, doing the same in Greenland. I compare today's American administration to Germany in 1933. The world is entering a very dangerous process. The Third World War is at the door, and it is evident that it will explode in the Pacific. America must stop China. It needs to fall back technologically, otherwise, China will surpass America. Let me be clear: There is currently no army that can compete with the United States military. Because it has the capacity to intervene anywhere in the world simultaneously. I saw this clearly during my research while at the United Nations. The purpose of the American armed forces is not for one or a few countries to attack; it is a military doctrine based on defeating the whole world if the entire world unites and attacks America," he said.
"TURKEY'S BIGGEST PROBLEM IS DRUGS" Addressing Turkey's fundamental issues, Aslan stated, "Turkey's biggest problem is neither livelihood, nor war, nor existence. When I said the biggest problem is drugs, no one listened to me. At this point, I say the same again: We are heading to a very bad place. Online gambling and drugs have taken the youth captive. Young people have no harbor to hold on to or take refuge in outside of online gambling. Whether you turn to the street, whether they are couriers, security personnel, or high school or university students, whoever they are, they say, 'Brother, I can only find money through gambling.' There are now hundreds of thousands of betting options, and you create your own bet. It is not limited to what is offered to you; you create it. In fact, there is now a betting exchange.
