On the other hand, the Ministry of Interior and the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) announced that a 'yellow' code warning has been issued for 38 provinces due to the expected thunderstorms and storms tonight and tomorrow.

In a statement made from the ministry's social media account, it was stated, "According to the latest information received from the General Directorate of Meteorology; due to the expected thunderstorms and storms on May 26, 2025, a yellow warning has been issued for our 38 provinces. In the southeastern Marmara, from noon onwards, strong winds and short-term storms are expected from the south in the inner Aegean, the inner parts of the Western Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, and the inner parts of the Western Black Sea. The rains expected in the Western Black Sea are anticipated to be intermittent and locally strong in the regions of Düzce, Zonguldak, Bartın, Bolu, Karabük, and Kastamonu from noon onwards. From the evening hours of May 25, Sunday, intermittent and locally strong showers and thunderstorms are expected in Edirne, Tekirdağ, Kırklareli, and Çanakkale, and from the early hours of May 26, Monday, in Istanbul, Yalova, Balıkesir, Bursa, İzmir, and Manisa, and from noon onwards in the regions of Kocaeli, Sakarya, and Bilecik."
