Turkey is making a warm entrance into the Eid al-Adha. According to Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen's statement, temperatures during Eid al-Adha will rise above seasonal averages across the country. While temperatures above 35 degrees are expected in coastal cities, summer weather will become permanent in Istanbul.

Meteorology Consultant Prof. Dr. Orhan Şen announced that the summer season will be felt across Turkey starting next week. Especially in coastal areas, temperatures are expected to exceed 35 degrees, while in Istanbul, thermometers are reported to rise above 30 degrees. Şen warned citizens to be cautious against sunstroke.

RAIN CONTINUES IN ANATOLIA

According to Şen's evaluations, while the effects of rainfall weaken in Istanbul, rains will continue in some regions of Anatolia. Especially in the southern part of Central Anatolia, the Eastern Mediterranean, and around Antalya, heavy rains will continue to be effective. However, it was noted that the main point of concern is a new atmospheric change that will begin next week.

THE WEATHER WILL BE 35 DEGREES DURING THE HOLIDAY

During the Eid al-Adha holiday, which will start on Wednesday, June 5, it is predicted that air temperatures across the country will rise above seasonal norms. Orhan Şen stated, "The holiday is coming, and the air temperature will be quite high across the country. The 5th is the eve, and it goes 6-7-8-9. Looking at this period, temperatures in Turkey are very high. In Izmir and Antalya, I mean for those going on vacation. In the coastal areas, temperatures will be above 35 degrees. This actually poses a danger to human health. Because they should not stay under the sun too long during the noon hours," he expressed.

SUMMER IS BECOMING PERMANENT IN THE MEGACITY

After temporary heat waves, a permanent summer weather is expected in Istanbul this time. Prof. Dr. Şen stated that starting from Wednesday, the summer season will show its full effect, and temperatures will remain above 30 degrees for 7-10 days.

On the other hand, this weekend (June 1-2), short-term rains will be seen in a wide area of Anatolia, including Istanbul. Emphasizing that these rains are important for agricultural production, Şen noted that it is a pleasing development for producers in Central Anatolia.
