In the drug investigation targeting celebrities, digital evidence obtained from actress Melisa Döngel's phone was added to the case file. Messages she sent saying "Need it urgently, buddy" and photos taken with prohibited substances emerged. Following the messages and photos, 43 suspects were detained in an operation centered in Istanbul.
New striking details have emerged in the drug investigation targeting celebrities, conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. As part of the investigation, forensic examinations of digital materials belonging to actress Melisa Döngel have been completed.
According to the research and analysis report prepared by the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command, it was stated that Döngel's phone contained numerous messages and visual materials considered to be related to drug procurement.
MESSAGES INCLUDED IN THE INVESTIGATION FILE
According to the news by Atakan Irmak from Sabah; it was learned that communications with various individuals, examined through a court order, were included in the investigation file.
According to the report, it was alleged that Döngel used expressions related to drug requests in her messages with some people. It was noted that messages such as "Buddy, is there a coke dealer?" and "Need coke urgently, buddy" in the conversations within the file drew attention.
Additionally, it was claimed that details regarding drug procurement were discussed in some conversations, and the suspects warned each other.
PHOTOS DETECTED IN THE PHONE GALLERY
The examinations conducted as part of the investigation were not limited to messages. Some photos in the phone's gallery were also recorded as digital evidence.
In the report, it was stated that images considered to show the preparation stage for drug use, as well as photos alleged to belong to various substances, were identified.
It was also alleged that the examinations revealed some frames where Döngel's face is seen and which are considered to have been taken while using substances.
43 SUSPECTS DETAINED
Following the findings obtained from Melisa Döngel's phone, an operation was carried out in two provinces centered in Istanbul. In the operation coordinated by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Istanbul Provincial Gendarmerie Command and the Istanbul MIT Regional Directorate detained 43 suspects.
It was alleged that the suspects conducted online drug sales through various social media platforms, primarily Telegram. While procedures regarding the suspects detained in the operation continue, it was learned that the investigation is proceeding in multiple directions.
