Following a series of messages from MHP members regarding crime organization leader Sedat Peker and the claim that he met with MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli twice, questions arose about whether he would return to Turkey. In a statement on the matter, Peker's lawyer, Ersan Barkın, said, "Under the current legal conditions, despite his strong desire, there is no plan for his return to the country."
Recently, there have been consecutive posts from MHP members regarding the crime organization leader Sedat Peker, who has been in the spotlight for a long time with the videos he published on YouTube.
MHP MEMBER YÖNTER: EVERYTHING HAS ITS TIME
MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter quoted the Sedat Peker video shared with the note "There is a time, there is no rush" and stated, "Everything has its time. Greetings to those waiting for the right time. May God bless the remaining desire."
IS PEKER RETURNING TO TURKEY?
Following Yönter's posts and the claim that Peker has spoken on the phone with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli several times, questions arose in people's minds: "Is Peker returning to Turkey?"
LAWYER DENIES THE ALLEGATIONS
In statements regarding the matter, Sedat Peker's lawyer Ersan Barkın told Can Bursalı from Halk TV, "There is no need for political support to lift the red notice against Sedat Peker in the cases against him. The nature of the alleged actions and the cases in question already require his statement to be taken and his release when he comes to Turkey, as well as his trial without detention. However, under the current legal conditions, despite his strong desire, I know that there is no plan for his return to the country."
