In response to a journalist's question, "The Kurds were your most loyal partners; will you continue to ensure the protection of Kurdish rights in Syria?" Trump used striking expressions regarding his stance towards the Kurds.
TRUMP'S RESPONSE
Trump stated that they have established good relations with the Kurds and said:
"I love the Kurds. But you must understand this; a lot, and I mean a lot, of money was given to the Kurds, and they were given oil and other things as well. So they were doing that not for us, but more for themselves."
The U.S. President also expressed that Washington has "good relations" with the Kurds and is trying to protect them.
