The statement of Ali Bacak (51), who stabbed and killed his wife Sermin Bacak (42) on International Women's Day, March 8, in Muğla, has emerged. "IF I KNEW SHE WAS DEAD, I WOULD HAVE TAKEN MY OWN LIFE TOO"
After the incident, Ali Bacak, who was detained by the gendarmerie and arrested by the court he was brought to after his processing, has had his statement reached. In his statement, Bacak said, "The fights we have are fights that start suddenly without reason. These fights continue because I get angry when my wife objects to me. During the time my wife worked at her job, she was jealous of everyone who came and went. I also have a normal level of jealousy towards my wife, which is one of the topics of our disputes. I never thought my wife would die because the knife that injured her during the incident was small, and her wound was also a small one. If I had known she was dead, I would have taken my own life too. I accept the accusation against me as I have explained. I loved my wife very much; I never even thought of killing her or harming her."
