Worker shuttles collided in Manisa: 35 injured.

In Manisa, 35 people were injured as a result of a collision between two worker shuttles. Workers who were trapped in the vehicles were rescued by firefighting teams. After the first aid provided by the medical teams, the injured were taken to hospitals.

A terrible accident occurred in the Akhisar district of Manisa. In the accident where two worker shuttles collided at an intersection, 35 people were injured.

BOTH DRIVERS AND WORKERS WERE INJURED

The accident happened around 19:00 at the intersection of the Organized Industrial Zone (OSB) in the Kayalıoğlu neighborhood of Akhisar, on the Akhisar-Manisa state highway. The worker shuttle with the license plate 45 J 4493, which was heading towards Manisa, collided with another worker shuttle with the license plate 45 J 4497 at the OSB intersection. As a result of the violent collision, both drivers and the workers in the shuttles were injured.

35 WORKERS WERE INJURED

Due to the impact of the accident, workers trapped in the bus with the license plate 45 J 4497 were rescued from the vehicle after a long effort by the fire rescue teams. The 35 injured people were taken to nearby hospitals after the first intervention by the medical teams dispatched to the scene.

After the accident, the road was temporarily closed to traffic, and security measures were taken in the area. The police and gendarmerie launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. No information has yet been shared regarding the health status of the injured.
