DEM Party Group Deputy Chair Gülistan Kılıç Koçyiğit claimed that the person who lowered our flag, a symbol of our independence, was threatened by a nurse in Nusaybin.
"HAND THIS OVER TO ME, I WILL DO WHAT IS NECESSARY"
Koçyiğit, who alleged that the person was threatened by a nurse during their transfer from Etlik City Hospital in Ankara to Sincan Prison, stated, "What did this racist, fascist, Kurdish enemy nurse say? 'Hand this over to me, go, I will do what is necessary. We used to receive these in yellow bags. I also served in the East. My spouse is a police officer.' Yes, an innocent young person, who has committed no crime and has no sin, was assaulted. They were brought face to face with death. It was not enough that they were also threatened by the nurse who was supposed to accompany them," he expressed.
DENIED THE ALLEGATIONS OF LOWERING THE FLAG
In the continuation of his remarks, Koçyiğit claimed that the allegations of the person lowering the Turkish flag do not reflect the truth, stating, "Diyar Koç has not engaged in any actions as alleged. You know how it circulates a lot on social media, that they lowered the flag and so on. There is no such thing. It is not in the investigation file either. The ministry says there is no such thing. However, despite this, they are being targeted, and their right to life is currently under threat in prison. We want to make a call to all authorities regarding this matter," he said.
