The mention of the Rixos Hotel in Antalya in the documents of the perverse billionaire Epstein has brought back the suspicious death of 16-year-old intern Burak Oğraş, who passed away in 2011. Father Murat Oğraş said, "My son told his girlfriend, 'Weird things are happening at the hotel. I'm disturbed by this.' He definitely saw something and was killed while trying to record it, and his phone was destroyed."
After the U.S. Department of Justice shared millions of new documents with the public regarding Jeffrey Epstein, who made headlines for charges of sexual exploitation and establishing a prostitution network involving minors, the connection to Antalya in the files brought an old case back into the spotlight in Turkey. The documents included information that Epstein stayed at the Rixos Hotels owned by Fettah Tamince.
According to the disclosed documents, it was claimed that Epstein organized accommodation at Rixos under the guise of "massage training" for his private masseuses and assistants. This detail brought renewed public attention to the case of 16-year-old Burak Oğraş, who was found dead at the Rixos Hotel in Antalya in 2011.
"MY SON SAID 'SICK THINGS ARE HAPPENING AT THE HOTEL'"
Speaking to T24, Burak Oğraş's father, Murat Oğraş, stated that his son had expressed discomfort to his girlfriend about certain events happening at the hotel before his death. Oğraş conveyed that his son told his girlfriend, "Sick things are happening at the hotel, and I am disturbed by this," expressing his belief that the incident was not an ordinary death.
"HE DEFINITELY SAW SOMETHING"
Father Oğraş also pointed out the fact that, despite the 15 years that have passed, his son's mobile phone has not been found. Murat Oğraş said, "I believe my son was killed in connection with this incident. He definitely saw something and wanted to record it. Then he was killed, and his phone was destroyed. I have been voicing this for a long time. I had previously shared on social media, 'What kind of perversion did my son witness that they destroyed his phone the night he was murdered, and they still can't find it?'"
TAMİNCE RESPONDS TO ALLEGATIONS
Speaking about the allegations against Epstein, Fettah Tamince stated, "I have never met Epstein. I have no connection or contact with him in any way. The process began only when a close friend of ours, a person I value, asked us for a favor."
BURAK OĞRAŞ'S DEATH
Burak Oğraş, who was studying at the Tourism and Hotel Management Vocational High School in Tekirdağ, went to the Rixos Hotel for his school's mandatory summer internship in 2011 when he was 16 years old. Just 15 days before the end of his internship, on the morning of September 9, 2011, he was found dead in the empty pool of a boarding house located 2.5 kilometers away from the hotel where the intern students were accommodated. Oğraş's death was recorded as a "suspicious death," and forensic reports revealed that there were bruises and fractures on his body.
