A surprise meeting occurred between the Turkish Heavy Industry and Service Sector Public Employers' Union (TÜHİS) and the workers' representatives within the scope of the contract negotiations that will determine the wage increases for approximately 600,000 public workers in 2025 and 2026. In the meeting, a raise of 24% was proposed for the first six months, 11% for the second six months, 10% for the third six months, and 6% for the fourth six months.

DETAIL ON "INFLATION" IN THE OFFER

Thus, the 17% raise proposal for the first six months was increased by 7 points to 24%, the 10% proposal for the second six months was raised by 1 point to 11%, the 7% proposal for the third six months was increased by 3 points to 10%, and the 5% proposal for the fourth six months was raised by 1 point to 6%.
