A fight that started when 22-year-old Salih B., who works at a café on Istiklal Avenue, assaulted a person waiting in front of a hotel, escalated to gunfire. Another individual, Sayim T., who came out of the hotel, opened fire on Salih B. and his companion, resulting in two people being injured. The police detained three individuals involved in the incident. The moment of the attack was captured second by second on security cameras.
Salih B. (22), who works in a café on Istiklal Street in Beyoğlu, assaulted Talip T. (36), who was waiting in front of the hotel, in the street he arrived on by motorcycle. During the fight, Sayim T. (58), who came out of the hotel with a gun, opened fire on Salih B. and Emircan A. (25). Two people were injured in the incident, while the Beyoğlu Public Order Bureau teams detained Sayim T., Talip T., and Ömer A. (26), who were involved in the incident. During searches at the hotel, two firearms, which were used in the incident and had possession permits, were seized. Security camera footage of the attack has emerged.
The incident occurred yesterday at 10:00 AM in Şehit Muhtar Neighborhood. According to allegations, Salih B. (22), a café worker who had a feud due to noise in the past, assaulted Talip T. (36), who was waiting in front of the hotel, in the street he arrived on by motorcycle. During the fight, Sayim T. (58), who came out of the hotel with a gun, opened fire on Salih B. and Emircan A. (25). Two people were injured in the incident. Following reports from those who heard the gunshots, police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The two injured individuals were taken by ambulance to Okmeydanı Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşçıoğlu City Hospital in Şişli. The street was closed off with a security cordon, and it was reopened to traffic after the crime scene investigation teams completed their work.
BEYOĞLU PUBLIC ORDER POLICE CAPTURED
The Beyoğlu Public Order Bureau teams, who initiated an investigation regarding the incident, detained Sayim T., Talip T., and Ömer A. (26), who were involved in the incident. During searches at the hotel, two firearms, which were used in the incident and had possession permits, were seized. Security camera footage of the attack has also emerged. It was learned that Emircan A., who was injured in the incident, had two criminal records with the police, while Ömer A. had one. It was reported that the detained suspects would be referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station.

The moments of the fight and the hotel owner's shooting were captured on security camera. In the footage, the suspect arriving on a motorcycle is seen assaulting the person in front of the hotel. Then, another person coming out of the hotel opens fire with a gun. Another person reacting to the armed individual in the street escapes the attack unharmed. He then runs and takes refuge in a shop on the street.
