ATTACK ON MILITARY FACILITY WITH A BOMB-LADEN VEHICLE
According to information provided to AA correspondent by police officials, after the attack with the bomb-laden vehicle, a series of large explosions occurred in the area, and gunfire was heard. It was reported that the attackers infiltrated the military facility, and security forces cordoned off the area while the operation was ongoing.
6 SOLDIERS KILLED, 5 ATTACKERS NEUTRALIZED
The area surrounding the facility affiliated with the border units was closed for security reasons, and the public was urged not to leave their homes. Eyewitnesses reported that debris from the vehicle was scattered along the Kohat Road after the explosion.
According to a statement from the Pakistan Army, 6 soldiers lost their lives as a result of the clash with the attackers, and 5 attackers were neutralized. 3 civilians were also injured in the incident.
