PELLETS HIT THE PASSING COUPLE
The incident occurred in front of a house in the Erik neighborhood. According to the allegations, M.Ö. went outside with the gun he had at home, claiming that a stray dog had eaten the chickens in the coop. Aiming the gun at the stray dog, M.Ö. pulled the trigger and fired the gun. At that moment, the pellets from the gun hit Adem I. and his wife Şenay I., who were passing by.
ELDERLY WOMAN DIED IN HOSPITAL
Other residents of the neighborhood who witnessed the incident reported the situation to health and gendarmerie teams. Health teams who arrived at the scene took the injured couple to the ambulance and transported them to Beydağ State Hospital. Şenay I., who was in critical condition among the injured, was transferred to Ödemiş State Hospital by ambulance. Despite the interventions made here, Şenay I. could not be saved. After the incident, M.Ö. was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams along with the weapon used in the crime.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
