New footage has emerged of the incident in which Adem Ünver (42) killed his father-in-law Ahmet Kalkancı (68) and injured his brother-in-law Halil Can Kalkancı (35) in the İnegöl district of Bursa.
FIGHT BROKE OUT WHEN NOT INVITED TO THE MEVLID
The incident occurred yesterday around 1:00 PM on Hacı Süleyman Street in the Kemalpaşa neighborhood. According to allegations, Adem Ünver argued with his father-in-law Ahmet Kalkancı and brother-in-law Halil Can Kalkancı because he did not invite relatives to the mevlid of his wife Türkan Ünver, who passed away from cancer five years ago.
HE FIRED BULLETS IN QUICK SUCCESSION
Again, according to allegations, Ünver, who threatened the father and son by saying "I will kill you," went to the café where his father-in-law and brother-in-law were yesterday. As the argument between the parties escalated into a fight, Adem Ünver drew his gun and shot Ahmet Kalkancı in the abdomen and Halil Can Kalkancı in the left leg.
DIED IN THE HOSPITAL
The bullets also hit nearby businesses and two cars. As Ünver fled, a health team was dispatched to the scene upon notification. The injured were taken to İnegöl State Hospital by ambulance after the intervention of the health teams. Ahmet Kalkancı, one of the injured, could not be saved despite medical intervention.

While the police initiated a search for the fleeing suspect, new footage of the attack emerged. In the images captured by the security camera of a nearby business, it was seen that there was a struggle between Adem Ünver, who was sitting in front of the café, and his brother-in-law Halil Can Kalkancı. It was reflected in the footage that Halil Can Kalkancı pushed Adem Ünver, who then drew his gun and fired in quick succession, while Kalkancı, who was shot in the left leg, fled into an alley.
As Ünver fired at his father-in-law who was following him, it was seen that Ahmet Kalkancı, who was shot in the abdomen, fell to the ground, while Halil Can Kalkancı, who returned limping, picked up the gun he dropped while fleeing and ran after Ünver while firing. The moments when Ahmet Kalkancı, who was carried to the sidewalk by bystanders, collapsed were also captured on video.
