The news of the famous artist's death saddened his family, fans, and the art community. Fatih Ürek was laid to rest after the funeral prayer held at the Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa Mosque in Levent.
HOSPITAL DENIES THOSE ALLEGATIONS
Following the artist's death, allegations circulating on social media that he suffered a heart attack due to "the use of banned substances" were denied by the hospital where he was treated. The hospital management issued a written statement, stating that the claims circulating in the public do not reflect the truth.
"NO EVIDENCE OF ANY SUBSTANCE USE"
The statement from the hospital included the following expressions: "Fatih Ürek was brought to our hospital intubated by 112 Emergency Ambulance teams. After his admission, all necessary emergency and advanced life support interventions were carried out flawlessly by our relevant specialist physicians. During the clinical evaluations conducted throughout the patient's initial intervention at home, the transfer process, and his hospitalization, no evidence or information regarding the use of any substances, as claimed in some recent social media posts, was found."

The statement also emphasized that the allegations circulating in the public do not align with medical facts, stating, "The unfounded and speculative shares in the public do not correspond with medical realities. It has become necessary to make this statement for the accurate information of the public."
