After the accident in Antalya, where 10 people lost their lives due to a passenger bus overturning, the bodies began to be taken from the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution Morgue. While the professors came to collect the bodies of the university students, it was observed that the families who lost their loved ones were struggling to stand. It was revealed that the bus driver, İzzet Karaağaç, had only 4 days of long-distance driving experience.

THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED IN DENSE FOG AND ON A SLIPPERY ROAD
The accident occurred around 10:30 AM yesterday in the Kömücüler neighborhood of Döşemealtı district, at the entrance of the Northern Ring Road. The passenger bus with license plate 26 ABG 022, driven by İzzet Karaağaç, which set off from Tekirdağ to Antalya on the evening of January 31, Saturday, crashed into the concrete barriers on the roadside after the driver lost control of the steering wheel due to dense fog and a slippery road as it approached a multi-level intersection.
10 PEOPLE DIED
The bus, which was dragged for about 90 meters, overturned into a 15-meter deep ditch after crossing the barriers. While 8 people died at the scene, the driver İzzet Karaağaç, who was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, and one of the seriously injured passengers, Sudem Çakmak (19), could not be saved despite all interventions. Thus, the number of fatalities in the accident rose to 10.
In the accident, Onur Yılmaz (21), Pervin Önal (22), Aslı Çevik (47), Zeynep Koçak (49), Bilgenur Koçak (16), Seymen Çınar Sarı (12), Resmiye Göktepe (62), and Erdi Demirsoy (35) lost their lives at the scene, while the driver İzzet Karaağaç (53) and Sudem Çakmak (19) died in the hospital where they were taken.
FAMILIES STRUGGLED TO STAND IN FRONT OF THE MORGUE
After the accident, the families and relatives of the deceased kept vigil in front of the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institution. It was observed that the relatives of Aslı Çevik, Resmiye Göktepe, Onur Yılmaz, Seymen Çınar Sarı, and Sudem Çakmak could not hold back their tears, and some family members struggled to stand. The family of Onur Yılmaz, a student of the Faculty of Tourism's Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department who lost his life in the accident, was supported by his professors from the university to receive his body.
THE PLACES WHERE THE BODIES WILL BE BURIED HAVE BEEN DETERMINED
It has been learned that the body of Sudem Çakmak, one of the deceased, will be sent to her hometown Bilecik, while the body of Onur Yılmaz, a student of the Faculty of Tourism's Gastronomy and Culinary Arts Department, will be buried in the Kurşunlu Cemetery in Antalya, and the lifeless body of Seymen Çınar Sarı, a 5th-grade student, will be buried in the Manavgat district.
THE DRIVER HAD JUST STARTED A LONG JOURNEY
On the other hand, it has been learned that the driver İzzet Karaağaç, who lost his life in the accident, had started working as a long-distance driver 4 days ago. It was reported that Karaağaç had previously worked as a bus driver for urban transportation in his hometown.
