Yiğit Bulut, the Chief Advisor to the President and a member of the Economic Policy Council, who passed away yesterday at the hospital where he was receiving treatment, was laid to rest in Istanbul. Among those who attended the funeral prayer held at the Marmara University Faculty of Theology Mosque were former ministers Berat Albayrak and Süleyman Soylu, as well as Bilal Erdoğan, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Ilim Yayma Foundation.

A funeral ceremony was held for Bulut, who passed away at the age of 53, at the Marmara University Faculty of Theology Mosque in the afternoon.

At the mosque, Bulut's wife Burcu Bulut, father Mustafa Bulut, and mother Nursel Bulut received condolences.

His loved ones prayed at the head of Yiğit Bulut's coffin. Bulut's body was buried at the Karacaahmet Cemetery after the funeral prayer.

"HE FELL ILL WITH A TERMINAL DISEASE AT A YOUNG AGE"



Abdullah Özdemir, the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman who attended the ceremony, stated that they received the sad news yesterday morning and conveyed their condolences to Bulut's grieving family. Özdemir emphasized Bulut's deep love for his country, saying, "He was a patriot who always expressed this feeling at the highest level and truly made significant contributions to our country selflessly, which we personally witnessed. We are all saddened. He passed away after falling ill with a terminal disease at a young age. We pray for God's mercy upon him. May his place be paradise."
