The Democratic Party objected to the name of the parliamentary commission called "Terror-Free Turkey." Following this objection, Feti Yıldız, a member of the commission from the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP), who visited Devlet Bahçeli, referred to the commission as "Brotherhood and Solidarity" in his post.

The decision of political parties regarding the commission to be established for the Terror-Free Turkey process in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) is eagerly awaited. According to the letter sent by TBMM President Numan Kurtulmuş, political parties have been given time until 5 PM on Thursday, July 31, to submit names for the commission.

DEM PARTY OBJECTED TO THE NAME

While the decision of the parties is being awaited, the DEM Party reacted to the name "Terror-Free Turkey" given for the commission. DEM Party Spokesperson Ayşegül Doğan stated, "We strongly oppose this naming of the process. If we are to provide a democratic solution to the Kurdish issue in this country, I would like to say that it would be more appropriate to have a designation that truly emphasizes peace and a democratic society, rather than expressing it through terrorism and security policies." Following this, a notable move came from the MHP.

USED THE NAME "BROTHERHOOD AND SOLIDARITY"

The Deputy Chairman of MHP, Feti Yıldız, who registered the name for the commission, along with Sakarya Deputy Muhammet Levent Bülbül, Kırıkkale Deputy Halil Öztürk, and Tokat Deputy Yücel Bulut, visited Devlet Bahçeli at the MHP Headquarters today. Sharing the visit on his social media account, Feti Yıldız used the name "Brotherhood and Solidarity" for the commission.
